A series of wooden bowls made by combining turning on the lathe with various wood processes including joinery, splines, and sandblasting, 2021
An investigation into wooden turning, creating volumes by turning wood on the lathe. I was interested in using the streamlined process while keeping the texture and details of the wood. I was also interested in the connections between blocks of wood, and the patterns that created when turned.
